SPOTTED: Kate Spade New York featured in Harper's Bazaar.
“There’s a nice classicism to it all, and a midcentury spirit in its elegance.
– Deborah Lloyd, chief creative officer at Kate Spade New York
Catch a glimpse into the inspiring creative force behind the NEW Kate Spade New York Home furnishings. Chief creative officer Deborah Lloyd's lakeside New York escape is featured in a five-page spread in Harper's Bazaar March 2016.
The new line presents the best of Kate Spade's classic style. In Lloyd's words, "beautiful, noble materials—ebonies, painted glass, brightly colored velvet." Lloyd scatters many of the Kate Spade prototypes throughout her Sullivan County retreat, including the Georgia Credenza and platinum Woodgrain Rug. The entire library's palette revolves around the line's iconic picnic-green Worthington Chair (featured above).
The article is a great peak into Lloyd's inspirations, including Lloyd and her husband's love of classic cars (the couple own an Aston Martin, a vintage Porsche and a Jaguar E-Type) as well as their simple architectural style. View more at
